In the wake of more mechanical problems, I decided to trade my 2003 Speedmaster in towards a 2007 Suzuki V-Strom 1000. I considered it an honor and a privilege to be a part of this forum for so long, and I really enjoyed being able to learn about my bike and motorcycling in general from this forum. I've already been welcomed into a new forum:

www.stromtrooper.com

So I'm set to ride with my new bike. I wish everyone here the best of luck and safe riding! Take care.

Also, I'd like to thank Bonnyusa and Wojo for their support during my accessories sale, and I especially thank all of the members who bought my stuff, you guys really gave me a financial helping hand towards my new ride. This is an awesome forum.

That's a great all-around machine you've traded the Speedy for, Mike. Enjoy!

But please come back and visit with us now and then, okay?!

I mean, I'm SURE those dudes over on that other site are probably pretty cool and all, but I'll bet there's NOBODY like THIS band of Knuckleheads over here who'll "enthrall" you with "insightful" little rhetoric and keep you "entertained" whenever you sit down at that keyboard o' yours and log-in to THEIR website!!!

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Mike,

When you come back & maybe post in "other bikes", won't that be confusing . What's other??

I missed the mechanical problems. Maybe it belongs in misc, but what happened?

Hey Michael, my bike is purring like a kitten with it's new coils! Seriously helps the starting and idling.

Don't be a stranger, I have enjoyed your insight over the years. Ride safe.

Thanks for the kind words guys, Benny, definitely noticed the coils not being there, when I was trying to get the bike started on it's last day haha! Not as cooperative, but that's ok though.
