When I was searching, I seriously considered the Yamaha FZ1. I read many articles about the bike and came to the conclusion that they messed it up a bit in ’06 when they went to fuel Injection. Cycle World and Motorcyclist had several reviews.
My thoughts: Upright seating position, Lots of usable power, great looks (Sports Bike), good mileage. Could not picture my wife on the back.
