Update:
We got Martin's bike out of the the cellar w/the backhoe
unscathed. There was a good turn-out for the event.
Big Poppy, his son Brett(sport'n his new leather jacket),
CTMike, CTSpeed, and a couple of special guests(whose names
escape me, at the moment), all chipped in to help.
Then Martin treated us all to lunch at Toymakers Cafe.
A good time was had by all!
Martin promissed me he'd post pics after he took a nap.
