Several disturbing things here....
One: the strap like you said. They could come up with a forklift, but not a strap? Yikes.
2, the front wheel. A couple things about that...
A: only one way to find out if the forks can handle it, and that's the hard way.
and 2: it tilts the bike WAY back beyond vertical, and extends the forks all the way out, so you are not only torquing the trees, but pulling the forks, which are designed to be pushed on.
Yikes.
So unless you plan on removing the STAIRS from your bulkhead to get a pure vertical approach, I'd stick with the behindtheframebytheheadstock approach!
