Joker, mine seems pretty firm. Not sure what went wrong, but imagine you can find some "Grip Glue" but labeled "Super Glue" Should work just fine I'd think. Maybe clean your bar end with alcohol or ether or some such cleaner, maybe rough it up with sandpaper. Good luck.
