Unlike Bonnyusa, I only have the one o-ring which is between the grip & the bar end. Didn't do anything scientific like measuring, just went to the hardware store & picked out a ring that seemed to be the right size.

I used a hex wrench to slightly move the entire throttle housing on the bar to make the correct sized gap so that the squeezed ring had just enough friction to keep the throttle open without being held, but could be closed when needed.
