 Valve clearance ?

I have just got around to checking my valves (20000 + miles)today. Exhaust side .28,.29,.25,.28 Intake side .21,.23,.23,.21 Ok all you valve guru's should I have them adjusted or not. Thanks.

The following is the spec for our bikes
Valve clearance Intake .15 - .20 mm Valve clearance Exhaust .25 - .30 mm
Based on this I would say you need to adjust all your Intake valve shims.

You are out on the intakes and close to the top on 3 of 4 on the exhaust. I'd re-shim them. Use Pat's shim calculator (the Lounge Link Stash has a direct link) and a good micrometer and you can probably cross swap some of your shims to bring them into the center of tolerance. Definitely adjust.

Those are pretty loose. Mine were all too tight.

Phil,
When I adjusted mine I did them all to the high side. The way these engines are designed the gap will never get larger, but over time as the valves wear it will get smaller. If I am wrong please let me know.
