William Shatner's performances in the original "Star Trek" are nothing short of legendary. His use of emphasis, and the "pause", combined with great lighting, made for a good show.

However I still like the original Trek. They are now being shown with some upgraded FX.
The old star treks where the best IMO, Bad acting aside, the show was built more on charater interaction than special FX.
I recall when the first Star Trek movie came out.Being dissapointed that the Spock, McCoy conflict was not there, And other small character traits among the crew members seemed to have been forgotten about.
