Here is a shot of my BMW the day I brought 'er home. I have cleaned it up now and ride it from time to time. Believe it or not in the pic it only has 4,000 miles on it. Bought it from a kid whos dad gave it to him. Dad had traded a panhead for it and kid bough a new Harley and lost interest. It cam with all the missing bits like a good seat and tank badges. Notice the Earls front end with swing arm and shocks. I painted the bars , hub caps and air filter grey. All I did to make it run was clean the carbs and points , check the mag timing and put gas and fresh oil in it. Been riding it ever since.
another cool thing is the one knee pad on the tank has a key and is actually a glove box/tool box. Put the key in and the knee pad hinges down to expose a box in the tank.
