Thanks for the help, guys. I did wonder if my cornering issue was psychological or not. Suppose I'll just have to get on the bike and practice them some more. Shame!!! She's not yet had her first service and so I'll get them to tweak the carbs then. I'm thinking of getting her on a dyno after the service to get her set up properly.
