the Triumph demo truck will be at Clinton Cycles.
March 30 and 31.
less than 2 weeks away.

I think I may ride the 675.

but last time I rode from a demo truck I
got the bike 2 months later.

we will have to wait and see.

Pete,

I’ll be helping Kasey out with the demo rides on Saturday so I’ll see you there…

Hope the weather is better next weekend than today's light rain/mist. Went to see the Triumph Truck at Pete's Cycle this AM. I rode the Speedy down, got there for 11:30 AM and the truck was already more than half loaded up. Several more Triumphs than usual in the showroom, a range of jackets and t-shirts in the shop, and the staff was all decked out in Triumph shirts.

Nice ride in the rain though... something I don't get out and do often enough.

Looks like the weather is going to cooperate. They are calling for partly cloudy and mid 60’s for Saturday.

I enjoyed riding the various models when the demo truck came to DFW area. The Rocket was an awesome bike and I would strongly consider owning one if the back tire would last longer than 3k miles. That could get VERY expensive!

I've done some event planning, and people & equipment logistics & scheduling & management, and so on and so forth, and the one thing I do know as a constant in these matters is that no matter how you do the scheduling, you can never make everyone happy, however...

Is it just me, or does it seem a glaring omission that the demo truck doesn't show at the factory sponsored RAT Raids?

There may well be a very good reason for this, but offhand I can't think of one.

Further translation - "I'm going to the Smoky Mtn Raid, and I want the demo truck to be there!!!

The Smoky Mtn RAT Raid will be my first Rat or Triumph event.
I'm really surprised at the lack of info available. You'd think
they would be alll over something like this. Seems to me that
all you have to do on this site is make a few posts about a
ride, and you can get from 4 to 50+ of our bikes to show up.

Why do I feel so abandoned by Triumph?

Well, since I had to work my regular job yesterday, I wasn’t able to get over to Clinton Cycles until after 3PM. I was able to help out as ride leader with the last 3 demo rides before they closed it down for the day. Ended up riding a Rocket, Tiger & standard Bonnie. The demo rides today start at 10 and will run throughout the day. If you can swing by do it since the open house is happening. It was interesting to ride some of the other models Triumph has although my butt is more comfortable in my America…..
