I've always thought the Raymond Loewy designed mid-fifty Studebakers with their classic understated lines are some of the best styled cars of all time, Dog!
My parents "second car" back in the early to mid '60s(which meant it was my mother's car...Pop drove the Caddy, of course
) was a used '54 Studie Commander.
And Mr. Loewy's penning of the original Avanti wasn't too bad a design either, ya know.
