I agree, the 4.3L is a great motor, 3/4'S OF A 350 small block.
I've got 1 in my '98 Chevy S-10(40K), and 1 in my '99 fish'n boat.
I had a '89 S-10 Blazer, that developed an electrical prob @ 140k,
that I couldn't figure out. The dealer still gave me
$1,000 on the trade-in for the p/u. It still ran great.
