I disagree with the comment about no fun in the twisties. I love pushing my 04 Speedmaster to the limit and it handles quite well although it isn't a sport bike nor would I want it to be. I am used to riding a hardtail with a LONG springer front end with very little in the way of breaks so I guess almost anything would handle well to me!! LOL But I think thats half the fun. Always kinda wanted one of the Ducati V twin 650s
