I @#$%up and bent the new filter with my homemade manual lift when I was trying to get the rear tire back on(ordered the Sears lift today)Can I remove and replace it without losing all that new oil in the crankcase?

fill the new filter with oil, run the bike and add as necessary, should be all set

Thanks Frank just wanted to make sure I was'nt going to lose everything in the crankcase when I pulled it.

You'll get messy  But should be fine. Just grab an extra quart. Top off the new filter, and check your level.
