I can confirm that Bikers Friend works really well when combined with a sissy bar to hold it rock solid. I've done a few 350 mile days with this on and had a well supported back all the way.
It's the best thing I've bought for my bike by a long way. They were very helpfull and responsive regarding my enquiries about size etc. I had someone measure the distance from my back to the sissy bar, which is about 15.5 inches. They recomended the large or extra large. I went for large as they advised XL might look too big if I used it without panniers on the bike.
