We don't know if Triumph is making a profit on The Bonnie series. Triumph is a private company. I'm guessing not much of a profit, if at all, hence the move to Thailand.
FYI, Thailand is a capitalist country and has a per capita income of $9100, 92% literacy rate, 5% annual growth rate, 4.3% unemplotment, #1 producer of tungsten in the world. I believe it is also the #1 in rice exports.
I would prefer the production stayed in the UK, then in 5 years when they cost $13000 and my 03 BA would still be worth $8000. Actually, I don't care where they are made as long as when I open the box it's a Triumph and a relatively free people made it.
