I have the Harbor Freight $65 or $70 model. These style of jacks seem to be a great value, probably due to Chinese manufacture. It's a lotta metal etc., for $70, IMO. It wouldn't surprise me if the half dozen or so flavors of lift we see are all made in one or two factories in China, kind of like what Murray / MTD lawnmowers does in the US market, in badging for a number of vendors.
If you need to move the jack to & fro from storage to usage or up and down stairs, and you're willing to spend a little more, look into the aluminum models. They're much easier to carry. The steel ones are a little awkward if the transport requires carriage as opposed to wheeling the jack across a floor.
To add a bit what Sandman posted, many hydraulic jacks do not take well to being stored in a horizontal position, a lesson I learned the hard way.
