I bought my '06 BA (790cc) last year. I let a Yamaha riding friend ride it and about two weeks later he had a new Speedmaster. We both traded off and as far as engine performance we agreed it was hard to tell the difference. My BA is graphite with the gray engine. His Speedmaster is black with the black engine. I really like the look of the blacked out engine on a black bike.
