3 more days until a full day of Jameson shots, pints of beer and disorderly conduct.
if there was one day to stay off the roads, this would be the one. watch out for the amateurs in cars. everyone thinks they can drink like an Irishman on St. Patties Day . If you have to ride, don't forget to put your feet down.
I'll be on my old school Huskavarne beach cruiser.

Yea. Saturday night no less. = danger zone big time. The green brew will flow in the bars like rivers of blood at a mongol conquest during the time of Temujin.

I couldn't wait to get started. Have upped my Cork and Tonic intake this week, added a daily Baileys for dessert after dinner, stocked in bottles of Powers and Jameson for Saturday, dug out the one bright green shirt I own, and added a few taxi companies to the cell phone.
Speaking of Cork Gin... anyone know if it is still imported to the US? I'm down to my last 1/2 bottle and that will be drunk with close friends this weekend.

mmm, 3 days till St Paddies day. 4 days till the F1 season starts. Guess which one i care about. Never quite understood the fasination with St Paddies day, especially to people who are not Irish. Personally, i couldn't give a about St Paddies day. Its of no more inportance then St Andrews day or who ever that Welsh geezer is. Now, when is St Georges day.

St. Patrick is believed to have driven the snakes from Ireland. Once a pagan himself, St. Patrick is one of Christianity's most widely known figures.
The modern secular holiday is based on the original Christian saint's feast day also the date of his death. Irish immigrants to the United States began observing the holiday publicly in Boston.

Tamerlane did have a rep for being one bloodthirsty mongol.
Gotta hand it to those Mongols. They knew how to win and they never left anybody in their rear that might even remotely give them any trouble. Some serious butt kickers those.
Imagine if we could just give the current "terrorist" types a dose of good old Mongol hospitality? No? Well I can dream cant I?

The wife has over 14 lbs of corned beef in the fridge. She slow cooks it in 3 crosk pots for over 12 hours. The best part is leftovers at breakfast, lunch & dinner for a couple of days.
Enjoy guys, be safe.

Now you are talking! We bought tickets to a "Bonanza" for Saturday evening. I'll be wistfully thinking about the race start around 10:30 PM. Oh well, it will be taped and I'll stay up to the wee hours watching the opener.

To Arsenal's point, I'm waiting for MLS season, Glory, Glory REVOLUTION!!! soccer, drink, yell, soccer, drink, yell (fight).
However, also not Irish (I'm a kraut); but living so close to Boston all my good buds are Irish it's just a good day to get stupid with your good buds and some strangers.

Got me plans a'ready laid out I ha'e. Me 'n th' missus are going to ha'e dinner at Kelly's bar and grill. We'll go early to miss a' th' drunken louts. She'll be drivin' haim whilst I sing a few rounds o' Foo th' Noo.
"I'm foo th' noo, absolutely foo, an' I love the country I wa' born in.
For me name is Jack McGraw an' I dinna gi'e a straw for I've somethin' in th' bo'le for th' morrnin!"
Well, technically, that's a Scots song written by Harry Lauder, but it fits the bill.

Not funny. But then what would i expect, hes probably a Villa supported, or a Birmingham, or, or, or.
What over loser teams are there in Brom. Been so long since they were on a winning streak that ive stopped counting them as teams of any note.
Argh, Birmingham. A truly beautiful English Midlands City......when veiwed in a rear view mirror.
Nothing good ever came out of Birmingham........except the motorway heading South.
Argh Birmingham. A city in the midlands inhabited by five million people all with a speach impediment.

Already have my corned beef in the fridge. Tho I pressure cook the corned beef, then when it's cooked through, I pressure cook the cabbage in the juices from the corned beef. Delish.
