Two nice days here in North West CT. Rode Saturday however when I left home for a 100 mile ride 11am temp 50, back at 3
;pm 37 degrees almost froze my legs and fingers. Monday and Tuesday short rides. Back in garage today decided to clean off exhaust pipes. Wow I could not believe all the sand everywhere, there is not too much sand in CT roads that are serviced by State DOT trucks, they came up with calcium chloride liquid. Back to the sand and dirt, I rode 8000 miles last year purchased TBA May 19, last year. It got dirtier in these last three days that all of last year. The three rides priceless. Saturday I will be busy washing all the crud off. I guess necessary tools. Bottle brush, both stiff and soft bristle, lots of Q tips, last year worked wonders cleaning the head grooves. Well just another education to the endeavors of seasonal riding in North West CT.

Can I bring my bike by for a detailing?

Sunday when I took my bike out, I had no idea how soft the ground was. As I was putting thru the back yard to get to the gate, I noticed I was slowing down and getting shorter. Uh oh... Left a nice 10 foot long, 6 inch deep trench in the grass. Got out to the street and hosed the tires/wheels off. Managed to rooster tail some mud up onto the picknick table too, not to mention the fender...
