The custom parts do not increase the value of the bike by his own carrier. As a matter of fact many policies have an exclusion for the custom parts indicating they only owe OEM.

Work the bodily injury claim, when its over get a new bike. Your broken ankle is worth a whole lot more than the bike if you play that one right. You need a limp, lost work, and lots of medical visits.
