Sorry to hear that, I got hit by a car last october. my legs were fine, it was my wrists that got beat up. Insuramce didn't pay me as much as I thought it was worth, (it was a 94 intruder in great shape, but not worth much according to the insurance agency) Make sure you mark every add on you can.
I'll repeat what everybody else said, listten to the doc, get rehab if you can. Glad to hear you are at least ok. Gotta watch out for those trucks, we lose to them everytime!
