The easy brackets are a good idea, they keep the bag away from the rear wheel and fit snuggly.
The only problem I had was the mounting plate did not hold the bags and they tended to move in the wind causing the plastic backing to split. An easy remedy is to fix a permanent plate to the bag to make it a more solid finish.
I am sure there is a few on here who have done the above, I am looking round for some hard bags to mount.
