I'm glad you still live in the "good old days," but the rest of us are living in a crazy litigious society where victims get thrown in jail when they try and stand up for themselves. Heck, even most of Montana has become sufficiently wussified that you can get thrown in the can for giving someone a completely justified arse-whuppin'.

Oh, and I'm fairly certain that if I got myself in any such scuffle, and charged as the aggressor, that I'd lose my job. It's just not worth it. I would lose my well-paying corporate IT job and this town is small enough that I'd be lucky to get a job at Costco (nothing wrong with Costco - it just pays a lot less).
