I've been using my old cowboy days stovepipe chaps for a number of years, but the flapping was driving me nuts. Anyway, I got these in goatskin as it is more pliable than cowskin. Have taken a few rides so far and they are nice(
). The fit is perfect, which it should be since I had to take about 15 measurements for the order form. They'll be warmer since we seem to have too many months of off-season riding around here.
