This contraption is a "BRP Can Am Spyder." It has a V-Twin Rotax motor (the same motor that is mounted in a Aprilia 1000). Interesting, - no? The video for this thing can be viewed here. -BT
"Speedmaster" is a title not a name, - and the title is not plural.

How much?
From their website...
"The MSRP will start at $ US 14,999 in the United States and $CA 18,499 in Canada."
If it came to that though, I'd rather drive one of these.

Of course a Maserati costs quite a bit more than this contraption.

Thirty years ago this month I bought a new GS750. I do an ebay search every so often just to see what's out there. The tail section on this thing is even the right color. Something like this would be fun to build from a wrecked bike (and an old Beetle?). But I don't know about driving it.

Is that a Kinks reference? If so, I thought you said that.

I was reading the article in Rider magazine about the Can Am. I like it ~~ and I don't care who knows it. After going down last fall I have been a little slow to get going again ~~ I am riding back and forth to the office and around the neighborhood but haven't been back on the highway yet. Yesterday I took a trip to the LA area (I have to do it once a month for a meeting) and I thought it might be fun making the trip on a Spyder.

Certainly different.
I would like to try one though. Looks like they would be a lot of fun, and as a second toy to play with ......maybe.
