The absolute fraud committed on their website is unforgivable and I will not bend on that. They advertise these bikes are built in the factory in the "Heart" of Great Britain. In the company timeline section on the web they don't say a word about Thailand and the two facilities.
For some reason Mr. Bloor has decided to lie to his new customers. He must also know about out little poll. lol

Going to have to point out here that ALMOST NO ONE advertises that they build cars, products, parts in low cost countries. Just look at GM and all their "Made in the USA" crap, or Harley Davidson for that matter. Sorry, when a bike or car gets over 50% of it's parts from overseas, it is no longer "Made in the USA". Yes, due to technicalities in NAFTA and other Trade Laws, because the content may be below a certain percentage, or because maybe only the final assembly is in the US, companies can get away with saying "Made in the USA". This isn't something new, sorry guys, it's business as usual, not a personal affront or slap in the face to one individual. Is it right, ethically, for any company, to say their product is made in one place or another if in fact, it's only partly made there, NO! As the old saying goes, "Just because it's LEGAL doesn't make it ETHICAL or MORAL!" Think about it, every day, we go out and buy a new Chevy, with the "Proudly Made or Assembled in the USA", and somewhere on the price sheet, in very fine print, you see the disclaimers about content from Mexico, China, etc... Most people just ignore it cause it doesn't matter to them, or even willingly overlook it cause they are so stuck on their "Made in America" Chevy. How many people ever stop to say, "Hey, this thing is almost ENTIRELY built in Mexico by laborers who make $2000 a year, yet I'm paying $25,000 for it just like I do for that other car that IS built in the US? Don't think you're going to see an announcement or advertisement ANYWHERE that says "Built in Mexico so that GM can horde more profits per vehicle without passing any savings on to you, the Schmuck who buys this stuff". So far, I haven't heard anyone mention that Triumph is downsizing the plant in England, only building new plants to expand production, and sorry, it only makes perfectly logical sense to build your simplest bikes (that would NOT be the Rocket III or SpeedTriple), which folks, are the bikes we ride, in a low cost low tech labor market. I did see a couple posts in the other "Thairumph" post about how they should build the sport bikes in Thailand cause it doesn't matter where they build them, so long as they don't don't build "our" bikes there. Well, if that doesn't smack of hypocrisy, I don't know what does. If it's not alright to build "our" bikes over there, it's not alright to build ANY Brit bikes over there. Having said that, it's going to happen, so get over it, move on, and get used to it. Or go buy a Harley. IF it is so important to buy a bike knowing it was made in the USA or England, then go buy a Harley, and just close your eyes when you look on the underside of any parts, and continue pretending that this is 1965....

Harley gaskets are made by Victor in their China plant.(I worked for Dana Corp for 5 years)Nothing is sacred. The idea is assembly is by proud Brits! Assembled in Thailand? No thanks! Buy cheaper parts, OK! Assemble with cheap labor NO! Harley builds in USA. Can you say goodbye Triumph? Remember what happend to Indian when they took th echeap route? Cause I don't know about you but the product I saw was cheap and poor quality.
