Bob, absolutely you are correct that the numbers would be different. They do represent the move to Thailand does not give him a free ride in the Public Relations Dept. We don't need another poll naturally but I for the only one in the world then, would not have bought my first one assembled outside the UK.

What this little unscientific poll along with all the chatter on Triumph Rat says is that they will suffer on return business. The poll does say they will not sell another America or Speedy to about 1/2 of current owners. Business likes resale a lot. Business also needs word of mouth. That may suffer when friends are possibly not advised to buy the Thailand bikes or on a softer side simply advised they are made in Thailand.

Once I get past the heritage thing, for me its more about national economy and the overall health of a nation. England and the U.S. are very similar in that their politicians have made so much regulation locally and eliminated so many barriers on imports it would be stupid for Bloor not to outsource.

The absolute fraud committed on their website is unforgivable and I will not bend on that. They advertise these bikes are built in the factory in the "Heart" of Great Britain. In the company timeline section on the web they don't say a word about Thailand and the two facilities. On the main page they say they have an office in Thailand. I guess so, most factory operations do have an office.

For some reason Mr. Bloor has decided to lie to his new customers. He must also know about out little poll. lol

I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.
