I wasn't trying to imply or condone that at all. Impaired is impaired, alcohol or other drugs and doesn't belong on the public highways. Hopefully most cops can determine whether a person's fit to drive.

And that the cop is arresting some stoned - or drunk! - bozo will be little consolation to the rider who's going to the hospital in an ambulance while his wrecked bike is being hauled away.
Drunk driving is wrong, distracted driving is wrong and stoned driving is wrong. Why legalize an activity that will ultimately put you as a rider at risk?
