I was reviewing this video of me taking a little ride on my Speedy back in 04 and I began to be depressed (knowing my M/C is still laid-up).

This is worse than the dread "lack-a-nookie" disease.

BT, ya better get 'er fixed up and ride again. It's a terrible thing to let a yellow speedy languish like that, especially after all the work you put into it.

BTW, nice video. I like the sound too.

Mark, long time, no hear/see? How are you doing? What gives with the bike, since I obviously missed something...

Which exhaust system do you have on your bike? It sounded good and not TOO loud, which is what I like.

Was that video taken before or after you installed the big bore kit?

I crashed about a year ago. When I crashed I had an ongoing dune-buggy project going (which is still going), and I WILL NOT have two projects going at once (I'm a redneck , - but not that kind of redneck).

How have you been? I see you're living in CT now.

OK, I didn't miss anything then, I DO remember that crash, just didn't think we were talking the same one. Been a VERY hectic and long year changing jobs, moving, acclimatizing to the minor differences between South Carolina and Connecticut , otherwise, all is well. A job came up in CT, and nothing solid was happening in Colorodo, so decided to give this a try, plus it gives me some experience, should I choose to re-pursue Colorado in the future, that may help me land something out there.

Bike is parked for the winter, just waiting for March to come through, and clean things up and warm up a bit so I can make use of the endless string of curves in this end of the state....(not quite as much fun taking them in my station wagon ya know!)

I hear ya, Terry. I keep watching, too. I even open another Explorer window so I can listen while I surf. Its like dope. It won't be long though. I almost left work early today for a scoot. I wish I had - Looks like the weather's going sour again.

Nice - I wonder how many viewers caught themselves "leaning" while watching the video.

In my opinion & humble experience chasing that speedie, you exhibited remarkable restraint in those corners. I kept thinking, "C'mon man, hit it!"

If you notice, the pavement was wet in many spots. I mean, you know, there is a fine line between fun & stupidity.

BTW, I am going to tear my Speedy completely down again (and build back up), - just not not quite yet.
