I used a hole saw and a half inch drill.I guess that method would work on either style of stock silencer but after that one you need hole saws on extensions or a long punch and hammer or the fence post.

Mike: Mine are stock America pipes. I thought if I wrapped cold, wet rags around the pipe that I could cut close to the edge with the plasma cutter and not discolor the chrome. The next baffle in I would just beat out with a long punch.
