Those Triumph models (Tiger or Trophy) might have been intended for touring but lack several key features that I was looking for, such as...

-full front fairing, wider than I am
-standard locking hard bags
-electronic true cruise control (not just throtle locking)
-forward posotion floor boards (good for reconstructed knee)
-standard crash bars (for optional highway pegs)
-cd player
-am/fm radio
-weatherband radio
-mp3 player input
-air ride rear suspension
-gas, oil pressure, volt meter, and ambient temp. gauges
-passenger comfort
-self cancelling turn signals
-aftermarket detachable sissy bar (in 10 seconds)
-stock tachometer
-touring tires

Even with all these reasons why I went HD, I still miss the flat out coolness of my TBA. For those who are wondering the HD does handle very well at slow and high speed compared to any bike let alone a large bagger. I will still be waiting for Triumph's entry and then I will recondsider.

Nuttier than squirel s**t.
