OIL? What's this? A new day?

I use Shell Rotella-T Synthetic 5W-40. About $13/4L jug at WalMart.
SHELL ROTELLA-T SYNTHETIC 5W-40 SPECS I would encourage all to read from the next link "All About Oil", and also has some good information about oil filters, and many other similar topics. I have not run across any contradictory information from anyone on this site. Most of what I have read here on BA.COM he has supported with his own research. I learned a lot, and found the Synthetic Oil story fascinating. Did we really know that Mobil 1 was no longer a true synthetic oil?
I did a google search on the JASO-MA requirement, and stumbled upon this. Great stuff.
ALL ABOUT OIL Scroll on down, folks. It's worth the read. I don't think I'll encounter anything on this planet that his recommended oils can't protect against.
The Purolator Pure One oil filter seems to have the high honors. I copied a list from a similar post here last year, and Dinqua nailed it. Add the Mobil 1 #M1-108. I did write down a different WIX # 85365 - maybe somebody else can sort that out.
Filters come in 2.5", and 3.25" lengths, so we have a lot of flexibility out there.
Some of the 3.25" filters are:
Purolator Pure One PL14610
Mobil M1-110
Bosch 3323
Walmart SuperTech ST7317 (made by Purolator?)
I carry a list around in my wallet as I can't be sure what I'll find when I need one.
As well as we all want to take care of our bikes, do we use the same stuff / criteria in our four-wheelers? I use Valvoline 30W in my p/up.
