Yeah I am NOT willing to "accept" a huge commute either. I think that is a total waste of time, and my time is worth money, not me SPENDING money on gas, etc. When I moved to NY I literally lived a half mile from work, maybe .6... I could walk there in 11 minutes. My job now sort of includes my time in the car, so whatever... but as I contemplate new surroundings or a new job down here, that weighs on my mind heavily. Especially since the car I will be driving (at first anyway) is a Hyundai with no AC and roll up windows! Gotta go get a trucker fan and a spinner for the wheel
Funny thing about CT I know people who love it, and a few people who want to GTFO. Maybe being a native helps?
