I can't disagree at all. I have stayed away from satellite radio, because I can't get the music I want. They both have stations labled "80's music", but they don't play the 80's music I want (punk and new wave, it seems that their idea of 80's music is Styx and Air Supply), so its cd's and mp3s for me. my mp3 player (I have an adapter to listen to it in the car over the stereo) right now has 283 songs on it, probably 5 times as many songs as most radio station play lists and its stuff that I want.

When I was a wee tyke in the local library a Popular Mechanics article predicted that someday, people would pay for television that would be wired right into folks homes. "No way will anyone pay for TV when it's free" I thought 40 years ago. Guess I was wrong. I hope Sirius does well, I bought their d@mned stock back when it was a good idea. Now it's in the commode. [Guess I better not give up my day job to become a day trader.}

I suggest XM, cause they play my album on the comedy station. Of course, I own Sirius.

.... Seems like you are pretty passionate about this, you must be an XM stockholder, I don't own either.
When we get passionate about satellite radio, it must mean only one thing - Winter has gone on far too long and we're freaking stir crazy.
Since I drive over 50k/year, satellite radio has literally kept me from climbing a tall tower with a high-powered rifle...

That's right - it's all your fault! (big - just kidding!!)
No, you will need something play the Roady through, MP3 player etc. That's sort of what turned me off, needing all that equipment to hook/unhook.

I have used a roadie on my bike ,all you need is a power source and the antenna... the antenna is very small and magnetic, sticks to handle bars well... the only issue is volume control which can be solved by having that on your ear buds... I have switched receivers and now have a built in mp3 that is very nice to use...music is great on a long haul but there is nothing better than riding and listening to a baseball game...
