The stock shift peg has to be cut off. I used a Dremel for that. Then you have to drill a hole to mount the Kuryakyn shift peg. If you look closely at the peg you see there's a nut on the other side.

To mount the brake pad you'll have to take off the rubber from the old one and use the Dremel again to make the new pad fit over the old one. Once again drilling a hole for the mounting screw is needed. No biggie.
