I was in a hotel in Lewiston Idaho and the teaser story was "How to avoid shark attack." Keep in mind, this was in IDAHO!!!! If you are being attacked by a fish 1200 miles from the ocean, God wants you dead.
I worked at the National Aquarium here in Baltimore for a long time. Got to feed the sharks a few times. Pretty cool. You know, a fair number of people survive Great White attacks. One theory is that they take a test bite, see if your edible, then swim off. Another one, that makes more sense to me, is that often great whites will strike a seal or whatever, then let it go and circle out of site, wait for the prey to go into shock and eat it with no worry of damage to their sensory packed snout.
