You may think about a jel pad orange crate design.My brother got one for his wife,I am getting one for my wife also.
The pad has orange crate type cells under the top. At a recent bike show the demonstration was a stool,a pad lock on top of the stool,the pad on the lock.People that sat on the pad could not feel the lock under the pad.
