Matt, I agree it's very odd. It still boggles my mind. I used the tester on it, chased wires, looked at the wire diagram and finally used one of my spare 10amp fuses where the blown fuse went and all was well. I again checked by taking the other 5 amp fuse out and again the tail light did not work. Give it a try, maybe my wiring is messed up, but I don't think so.
