Here's a picture of a buel with a belt tensioner. If a person were to fit one of these with the QDP system, you could run a smaller rear pulley and get taller gearing.
just a thought.

QDP offers two ratios as it is. Would you need anything taller than 2.33:1?

If I could get that ratio, I'd buy one.
It seems everyone that talks to QDP gets a different story.
I phoned them twice (on the same day) and got two stories.
It's been my experience that Brent at newspeedmaster.com is the best guy to talk to about the ratios. The last time I talked to him about it the only ratio available was the 2.46:1 ratio. (24 tooth front pulley/59 tooth rear pulley)
I hope you're right and I'm wrong though. I'd sure like that 2.33:1 ratio.

I don't think QPD offers more than one ration for the Speedy/BA line. If you own a legend/bonnie/thunderbird, you might have an option. I'd be happy with the one ratio offered for the America, if it was about $400 cheaper - You can get the belt at a power transmission place for about $40. Not the $100+ that QPD wants.

You should be able to use something like that. Or, since the belt used by QPD is sure to be a standard off the shelf part, you might be able to get one from the manufacturer that is a different length.
