You know just a week ago I posted about a cold winter ride
2 feet of snow later the thought of a repeat cant happen.
We spent the week digging out, it was so bad at work we had to rent a front loader and a dump truck to remove snow from our lot. You know im getting too old to be pushing 300 cars and moving snow. Now the worse part it was lousy snow, you couldnt even make snow balls with it.
Now let me just state the next person who has moved from this god forsaken place, who says "I miss the season changes" Im going to personnaly fly to the warm weather place they live, have cooler with snow in it knock on there door and dump it over there heads!!!!!!
Did i mention im freaking sick of snow?

I'm with you Chris. But don't fret - It's almost over. I can feel it. We're just weeks away from a good looong ride.

Having only acquired my SM last November, I personally am in the longest, most grueling winter that I can remember. All the MC magazines and books I have only exacerbate the problem.

There is hope! I can’t believe it, but they are calling for temps here in Cincy near 50 for the next few weeks.

I'm with Chris. I walked outside this morning and had to practice my curses. They were heavily peppered with F bombs. Last ride I had was Jan 2, guess I shouldn't complain but I so hate to be cold, I'm tired of shoveling (specially since one tenant won't) and I HATE having to scrape a car window every moring before work!
That dang Groundhog better be right or my first road trip is to Punxy!

Amen. I'm with you. I just spent the last hour cleaning ice 2 inchs thick off the roof of my van and the wipers were fronzen in a block of ice. Starting it up and letting it run did'nt do it, I had to use the hot water trick, and it is going down to 15 tonight. And this is what 4 or 5 days since it iced. Its enough. We usually get a warm up and everything softens and melts.I would much rather have had real snow.

Hummmm? Under the heading of "making do" this explains the ice fishing trip we have planned to Georgetown Lake March 1-3.

Kennymc;

Great snow statue, could not get away with doing somthing like that around here, too many tighta$$es.

Spent two hours today breaking ice with 6' long 1" dia steel
rod. Had to make a path to the street, so that when the Jahova's Witnesses come to save my soul, they dont fall and sue my a$$.

Yes stern winter sucks,we need to start a movment to have Feb. removed from the calendar.

I grew up in the snowbelt thinking of people who fled South as wienies, cowards, cheaters. A few years back I took a pickup load of furniture to some friends of friends living in Tucson. While there I ran into a couple who had sold a midwest hog farm and retired to Arizona. His big pleasure was walking naked out the backyard and eating a fresh picked orange. I haven't thought about hog farmers or snowbirds in the same light since .

Being of temperate mind and latitude I moved to Montana instead. The notion of retired hog farmers playing Adam and Eve ruined it for me, not that they don't have the right to enjoy themselves. Had they been forthright cattle ranchers, used to the sun and open spaces it would have been another matter

What was the question again..........?

Hej Chris,
thanks mate I needed that, brings me back to reality, just think ,only a few more weeks and maybe I'll be back on the road again.Lappland last weekend,a good time with people from Lappland and a good party, only downside was that it snowed in the night and we had clear 14 inches of snow off the cars before we could drive home, snow, you don't know the meaning of it
