Ok I looked back in the stacks (oops I mean archives)& I'm still not sure if moving the exhaust cam is good bad or ugly... I've the stock 790, freak, and the long TOR's.
If I advance the cam 1 tooth I decrease the valve overlap, and increase the low & mid range of the motor.
If I go the other way & retard the cam 1 tooth I increase the valve overlap & increase top end but sacrifice low end.

if I leave it alone nothing changes

I'm doing the shims now & this is the time to make the change.

Advancing the exhaust cam one tooth (15º) will give you a little more get up and go. Jojje, the wild turbo Swede, has posted dyno results and this works well for the 790cc motors.

edited cause I am stupid....

oops, you are correct, I typed wrong. Bad Pat. But there still have been good results with the exhaust cam advancing one tooth.
