Back in the 50's we used to install a spark plug in the tail pipe about 1 foot from the end and hook it to a magneto with a switch. We just let of the throttle and fliped the switch and the un burnt fuel in the pipe would look like a flame thrower...an un marked straight 8 Pontiac police car did not think it was funny one night in '54.
