I remember talking to a bloke I work with who builds chrome bits for hotrods and has orders from all over. I believe he told me that much of the cost comes from setting up the mould etc for manufacture. Maybe it's got to do with how many you sell to re-coup costs. What we need is someone with some expertise in this area like maybe Stuart from SRS chrome or anyone else with experience in this area.
