Dwight.....remember Thermopylae (spellin check?) battle thereof ways back in ancient days circa ancient Greece.

I know ya do.

Bunch a close frends saving the day and holding the line against tremendous odds ..saving Greece from Persian hordes..

Bet they did na have to worry about any global approvals now eh?

And Kingpin is a FUNNY movie ....

OH! So it's a remake of the early '60s movie, "The 300 Spartans"???

All I remember about that flick is the battle scene where the Spartans use their shields to deflect the Persian's arrows and then attack after those Iranians....er....PERSIANS use up all of their artillery.

Richard Egan I think played the hero.

(oh and regarding the "global approval".... ....you'll have to remember that this was WAY before CNN and FOX "News" came onto the scene, subsequently providing instantaneous coverage and analysis being broadcast throughout the world......but I THINK Walter Cronkite of CBS was around then)

Cheers,
Dwight

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
