I posted the same request on the lounge as is on this help section. It was for the name of a warranty or customer service representative at the Triumph headquarters. I posted on the lounge when I realized the help page was for forum technical problems not help information in general. I posted at about 7AM CST 1/17 and got two early responses, but the post was off the site by 300PM CST before most people would have time to respond to it. The issue was about a potential life-threatening design flaw, the failure of the metal in the chain guard that caused to bike’s forward momentum instantly stop and causing over $2,000 in damage. I wrote a letter to Triumph explaining the problem in detail, but did not the best person or people to send it to at Triumph heaquarters. I was lucky but the incident could have easily killed me and chain guard failures have happened to several other members who contacted me on the old forum, but not to the same extent or with the problems dangerous consequences. I have more miles than most on a bike 1.5 year-old (20K), and the others who responded said they had similar problems about the about the same mileage. I think this could be an important issue to many in the TA & SM family when they get to the same mileage. Anyway, what did I do wrong or is the life of a post very time limited on the new forum format. Thanks
Happy Trails, Blast

Hey Blast, Chy reponded in the Lounge: Quote:
Triumph Americas PR rep is Peter Carleo, he can be contacted at 678-854-2010. He's a good guy and will help you if he can. Just start off by telling him how much you love your bike.

You mean this one in the Lounge, or this one in the help forum? I can see them both (and I'm not a moderator here).

FriarJohn, Thanks for your response. I just figured out the next button took you to another page. I've been used to the up page cue being at the bottom of the page on other forum formats. I'm just a little slow.
