Yep.. and the female has two wombs.. one for males and one for the females. They have one litter of all males or all females while holding the other litter in a kind of stasis till the first litter can fend for itself.. then have the other litter. Opossums are really cool critters.. I rescued three of them whos mother had died and kept them around till I found a wildlife rehabilitation place ove in Ellijay. I reall liked those guys...
