Do even movie stars fart?

Yes, of course. So do grandmothers, priests, kings, presidents, opera singers, beauty queens, and nuns.

Even Yoda farts.

At 5000 rpm, each cylinder of your bike is firing 42 times per second.

If you're chopping habanero chilies and have to pee, have someone else hold your doodad.

Here's a timely one for Lincoln's Birthday, monday.....

-The Great Windstorm of 1947 blew all four of the giant hats off Mt.Rushmore.

(thank/blame[depending on your outlook] Dave Letterman for that one, not me...I just thought it was funny)

When birds fly in V formation, one side of the V is always longer. Know why?

There's more birds on that side.

The cat always lands on it's feet. The piece of buttered toast always lands butter side down. So why not tie buttered toast to the back of the cat? This could then be engineered to produce quite a nice piece of antigravitational technology that might be useful in various applications such as in hover rail technology or in aviation...

Hey Dave! You wouldn't per chance be related to JOE LUCAS over there on that little island o' yours, would ya???

I'm thinkin' that it was theories like YOUR'S here, that "inspired" ol' Joe to come up with "niffty" ideas like POSITIVE-GROUND electrical systems which you blokes over there attempted to "perfect" for so many years!!!

Cheers,
Dwight

Until 1956, most US made vehicles had positive ground. In '56, there was a mass migration to negative ground because the price and quality difference between NPN and PNP transistors dictated negative ground transistor car radios. For some reason, battery connections seem to corrode less with + ground.

So GB, ESSENTIALLY you're saying that it took another 180 YEARS(1776-1956) for us Yanks to REALLY cut the old apron-strings, and break away from the "Mother Country's" way of doin' things???

WOW! I never realized THAT!

One question persists though: How come the Lucas supplied wiring harness on my old '66 Beezer Lightning went up in smoke after only a few years of ownership?

Cheers,
Dwight

Okay Tom! You MAY have(still not convinced about this whole thing) figured out Dave's "little theory" here...BUT...I have one little question:

Where the hell does the ZENER DIODE fit on THAT CAT so those blokes over there can start buildin' those MAG-LEV TRAINS o' theirs???

Answer me THAT, dude!

(and DON'T get any ideas there YOTA!!!)

Uhmm....after conducting some preliminary experiments, my results were that the cat did indeed move, but unfortunately in completely the wrong direction. It flew through the cat flap, dislodging the piece of toast in the process and now is nowhere to be seen.
My tentative conclusion is that this technology may well work in the future but I think we need to try and refine angle theta somewhat or possibly look at Dwight's Theory and include Zener diode technology coupled with an appropriate power supply. The thousand dollar question - where to mount it?...Back to the drawing board for now.

BTW More things you might ought to know - If you ever need to give your cat medication, that they refuse to take orally or with food, you can grind the tablets up, mix with some butter and smear on front paws. They might not like the medication, but they like being dirty even less! Ha ha!

I don't know Dave. This sounds by all accounts that we may been going in a categorically incorrect direction with this. The present methods could cause a catatonic state to be induced upon our test subject. I suggest that we catalog our progress to date, and maybe move our research facility to another and maybe warmer location.

I hear that there is presently an unused research center on a little island off the coast, nearby where I live here in sunny southern California.....Catalina.

I'll make some inquiries regarding this possible move if you'll give me the go-ahead.

Cheers,
Dwight

Yep.. and the female has two wombs.. one for males and one for the females. They have one litter of all males or all females while holding the other litter in a kind of stasis till the first litter can fend for itself.. then have the other litter.
Opossums are really cool critters.. I rescued three of them whos mother had died and kept them around till I found a wildlife rehabilitation place ove in Ellijay. I reall liked those guys...

Actually the "corking" process happens after mating. The semen hardens to prevent other males from mating with her. This insures the dominate male genes will be passed on to the next generation.
