Luckily, I did mark the original position before I moved it. I only moved it one spline over and my boot now fits but I haven't test ridden it yet.(It feels O.K. just sitting on it) Since you moved yours back, did you then adjust it by the nuts on the lever and if so, did you get enough adjustment?
